WE WANT YOU!
AANN is inviting Asian American Middle and High School Students to apply for our team as volunteer video editors, writers/interviewers, animators, and marketers.
Applications are accepted year round until teams reach capacity. Volunteers will receive community service hours according to their contributions to various projects. Students will have access to leadership development seminars, networking opportunities, and invaluable experience working in a collaborative team environment. There are also opportunities to interview and interact with high-profile people. Past interviewees have been Sean Reyes, the Attorney General of Utah, Paul Hsu, the Chairman of the Hsu Educational Foundation and member of President Bush’s Small Business National Advisory Board, and Dan Forest, the former Lieutenant Governor of North Carolina.
For more information about each role, see the list below. Every volunteer at AANN is expected to attend weekly meetings on Monday evening, as well as complete their assignments in a timely manner, maintain communication with teammates, and equally contribute to each project. A good candidate is someone who is excited to learn, works well with others, and can go above and beyond expectations.
